Chemicals, preservatives, fillers and additives are all over the place. It’s almost as if we’re living in a chemicalized society. That might not be a word but it accurately describes the situation, doesn’t it?
I personally have very sensitive skin and I have noticed that the best products for me are completely natural and with only the highest quality ingredients. The best sensitive skin care tips should point you towards natural methods of taking care of your skin.
It does you no good to buy an expensive product that then aggravates and irritates your skin. Therefore you should avoid certain ingredients that are commonly used in today’s most popular products. Here are three of those dangerous chemicals that I personally avoid at all cost.
1. Parabens are used widely as a preservative in the most popular skin care products today. If you want the best sensitive skin creams, you will most likely have to do a little bit of research, just like I did. There are many small companies that are on the cutting-edge.
2. Dioxane has long been known to cause cancer and has even been banned by the State of California. It is a by-product of a cancer-causing petrochemical that is known as ethylene oxide, which is used in a process called ethoxylation. This process practically makes harsh ingredients milder. Why would skin care companies want to do that? An interesting question.
3. Fragrances smell nice but they irritate and cause havoc in your body and skin. The term fragrance can refer up to 4000 separate substances. Many of these are toxic or carcinogenic and have been proven to affect your nervous system, cause irritation and depression. By only buying the most natural products, you can avoid all these common dangers.

Skin care products for Asian skin?
I need help finding basic skin care products appropriate for my skin. I am in my mid 20s and have a combination (more oily) but sensitive skin (I guess this is a common Asian skin type?).
I used to use Clinique products but it was too strong for my skin and gave me occasional red spots. I then switched to a Japanese off-the-shelf product I got in Japan and it worked great. But since I have no plans to go to Japan anytime soon, I need to find a good skin care line for Asian skin that I can buy in the US.
Any suggestion is appreciated!!
Thank you!
h2o and lush…are great products

But the skin care companies don’t want you to know this.
If you knew the truth, you’d have second thoughts about buying many of the most popular skin care products on the market……even the expensive brands.
You can stop aging by educating yourself on effective anti-aging skin care and use anti-aging products that will work for you and your skin.
