If Scientology is a religion, isn’t it being “anti-semitic” if we say something against it?
Hi there!!
I do not practise scientology, however, I find it disappointing to hear a sort of sect/religion being called names, or read news bits that incorporate negative anxiety about a less popular community.
I am just wondering, in this time and age, when we will be considered anti-semitic (and probably sued even) if we add an unethical adjective to nouns like Christian or Jew, why is it not considered anti-semitic to call Scientology awkward, or weird, or crazy etc?

I should have been a bit clear. By saying Anti-semitic I meant “discriminatory”. I know what Anti Semitic is, I was just wondering why its not ok to not attack Jewish for example, why its ok to attack scientologists for example.

I would hope you would be concerned about attacks on all religions. You sem particulary concerned about Scientology but, if you have spent any time on this site, know that there has been no attack against them. It is all focused on Christianity, maybe Islam once in awhile.
With that being said, there is nothing wrong with disagreeing with something, it is the manner and/or actions that create the problem. When you call someone stupid, or unable to think for themselves, or delusional, that is not only rude and bigoted, but completely disrespectful.
I don’t understand why people can’t disagree with someone without being insulting, except to say that they have the problem with respect and are defensive because they have something to hide within their own arguements.
Since most people don’t practice this, be prepared to incite a religious riot.
