Anti aging skin product – is there really such a thing? Sure there is, but you may not find it in all the pretty packaging in your local department store’s cosmetic department. There definitely are some great products out there these days, but there are just as many who fail to live up to the hype of the advertising companies promoting them. Expensive ingredients like caviar and ground pearls do not necessarily mean a great product. Furthermore, the price of these products is more often an accurate reflection of the costs of advertising it, not the true cost of producing it.

Sure, an anti aging skin product would be a wonderful thing, but it may not be something that comes in a bottle. If you could bottle good nutrition, exercise and staying out of the damaging rays of the sun, you might come close. But until then, we have to make do with a good skin care regime. Cleansing twice daily, exfoliating regularly, using sunscreen religiously, and using a moisturizing cream morning and night will have to come close. Doing the right things for your skin’s health don’t have to cost the earth, either. In fact, you can make some great homemade skin care products for mere pennies.

Did you know that you can make not just one anti aging skin product at home, but several? You can make exfoliating scrubs, moisture-drenched masked and even your own soothing creams and lotions customized just the way you like. You don’t need a degree in chemistry or thousands of dollars of equipment or supplies either. Often, things you have on hand in your pantry or fridge are all you need to get started. Got a little honey and a little oatmeal in the cupboard? Then you have all the ingredients you need to make a terrific mask that will not only exfoliate your skin, but moisturize it as well.

Your anti aging skin product will be whatever you want it to be. Do you like an extra-thick, rich cream for nighttime? Simply by adjusting the amount of water in your recipe can make it that way. Do you have sensitive, easily irritated skin? That made with oatmeal and honey will nourish your tender skin and remove any itchiness from dry skin. Do you love the scent of lavender, or maybe of lemon? Incorporate essential oils made of these wonderful, natural ingredients in your recipes.

Anti-Wrinkles?

Uh, I’m only 15 years old but I already got kinda wrinkles on my forehead and my hands. The one’s on my forehead isn’t like those supervisible ones, but like if you look a bit closer, you can see them. My wrinkles come from the fact that I lost like…10ish pounds from last year… at least that’s what my friends and mom told me.

Is there any creams for anti-wrinkle? I don’t want to use any random one because it might mess up my skin, since anti-wrinkle creams aren’t usually for my age group…

(BTW, I was about 115ish last year, and now I’m 103…Height: 5′2. Just in case, y’all thought I was obese or anorexic…I’m normal.)
But uhm…I don’t know how to reply to the answers…><

Uh...I get tanned a lot from the sun. But I'd rather die then go to a tanning salon or something. But thanks. I'll stay outta the sun...it'll be hard though. I'm an outside person.

I hate to disagree with your friends and Mom, but I don’t think those wrinkles are caused from weight loss. I am also 5′2″ – have gained and lost 10 lbs on more than a few occasions. This sounds like ultra-violet damage to me. Either tanning salon or sun damage, especially if you are by nature a relatively fair-skinned person (like myself).
My advice, stay out of the sun and away from tanning beds as much as possible. If you must go out, make certain that use use a GOOD sunscreen (30 SPF). If you feel you must tan in salons (I strongly discourage this), then at least use a bed that allows you to turn off the face feature.
If tanning is an issue for you, please consider some of the self-tanners. There are some excellent ones on the market now that don’t turn you orange, just make sure you use one suit for your skin tone (I like Neutrogena). By that I mean don’t try to go from fair to dark overnight or you’ll get that “broange” color that looks so fake.
Now to answer your original question – I like Oil of Olay. It’s relatively cheap and works as good as any high dollar moisturizer I’ve found in High end stores.
Hope this helps.

Behind the glossy images in magazines, and on television, there lies dangerous anti-aging secrets.

Most skin care products, even the “natural” ones, contain many harsh chemicals used in industrial processes.

These chemicals are known to cause a wide range of adverse health effects, ranging from skin irritation to cancer.
But the skin care companies don’t want you to know this.

If you knew the truth, you’d have second thoughts about buying many of the most popular skin care products on the market……even the expensive brands.

You can stop aging by educating yourself on effective anti-aging skin care and use anti-aging products that will work for you and your skin.
