Recently on the Oprah show, Dr Oz conducted an anti aging review largely based on the National Geographic editorial entitled the Secrets of the Blue Zones.

i think i am anti-social…?
for as long as i can remember growing up i have always kept to myself… there are only one or two people i can talk to and that being my friends that i have known since i was born…. i have gotten pretty good at faking emotions that i am supposed to have but i really dont feel…. i wasnt really picked on in school as many first ask me… i am in the military so i work with the same people 24-7…. still these people dont really know me… they know the persona i play but i really cant stand people… i get by, by perfoming like this but some people find out the true me… i try to date because that is what i am supposed to do at my age, but that is what normally gives my secret away….the physical part of a relationship i cannot hide myself… i dont know if i am actually anti social, but i dont know what to do…. i dont think i want to continue living under this persona that i have been named… please give input…
It seems like your putting an act for the whole world, so people won’t judge you. I’m the same way…i feel like i can’t be true and a loner because then i’ll just get really depressed. In your case you date me on the other hand i’m always outside of the house with friends. I hate being alone, but i think i just need serious help because i got to the point of cutting myself.
